Access the Printer Interface: #
Access the Printer Interface:
- Start by accessing the main menu on the Kyocera TASKalfa control panel.
- Navigate to the “Applications” or “Send Icon” menu.
Select Bates Stamping: #
In the advance Setup, look for the “Bates Stamping” option within the applications or job settings menu and select it.
Configure Bates Stamping Settings: #
- Starting Number: Set the starting number for the Bates stamp. This is usually set to 1, but can be adjusted as needed.
- Increment Value: Define the increment value, typically set to 1, which will increment the number by 1 for each subsequent page.
- Position: Choose the position on the page where the Bates stamp will appear (e.g., top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right).
- Font and Size: Select the font type and size for the Bates stamp text to ensure it is clear and readable.
- Prefix/Suffix: If needed, you can add a prefix or suffix to the number. For example, “Doc-” as a prefix would result in “Doc-001, Doc-002, etc.”
Additional Settings:
- Date/Time Stamp: Some configurations allow you to include a date/time stamp along with the Bates number.
- Page Range: Specify the range of pages to apply the Bates stamp if you do not want it on every page.
Save and Apply Settings: #
