How long have you worked at BDS?
I have been at BDS for seven years and two months.
Three words/phrases to describe your role
Dynamic, engaging, and satisfying.
It’s dynamic, because everything’s always changing. Customers have different needs so I’m always going to different places. Engaging, because I’m always engaged with the customer face-to-face in the field. And satisfying because I gain a level of satisfaction from the job knowing that it’s getting done well.
Can you tell us more about your role, and what you like most about it?
Leaving a customer site knowing that they are happy with the solution and product we’re providing them. I also enjoy the traveling aspect of this position.
What is something that most people at BDS do not know about you?
I’m an avid gardener. I maintain an outdoor garden in the spring and summer with my wife, and we also have a bunch of plants indoors that we care for year-round.
How would you describe your personality?
I would say eclectic. I love a variety of things in all aspects of my life. Whether that’s food, music, activities. I love to experience all life has to offer.
Where is your happy place?
Working in my gardens, my sportsman’s clubs, and I spend a lot of time at my computer as well.
What’s one thing you can’t live without?
Good food. My wife and I are foodies. Lately, our new thing is perfecting smoked barbecues. Pork butts, ribs, chicken, some queso, cream cheese blocks that you can pour hot honey and things for appetizers like crackers. We like cooking all sorts of stuff.
What’s your motto or personal mantra?
Treat everyone the way you’d like to be treated.
What do you like best about BDS?
The thing I like the most is that BDS takes care of and appreciates its employees. I think it’s important that the employer and employees feel seen and appreciated. I think BDS does a very good job of always making their employees feel that way.
