How long have you worked at BDS?
In July, I’ll have been with BDS for 4 years.
Three words/phrases to describe your role
Constantly learning, People-Oriented, and A little chaotic but fun.
Can you tell us more about your role, and what you like most about it?
I like that I can train people. I almost feel like a teacher and a mentor when I get to see them grow and apply everything I teach them. Most of the time I’m shadowing my trainees and some things that used to be tough on them, start to become easier over time so I like that.
What is something that most people at BDS do not know about you?
I’m ambidextrous. I can write with my left or right hand, or throw with my left and right. I can even send a baseball bat in either direction!
How would you describe your personality?
I always bring humor to the table and find a way to make people laugh.
Where is your happy place?
I like to be by the Ocean in the Carolinas. It’s just the air itself, felt easier to breathe and the sun was great.
What’s one thing you cannot live without?
My earbuds. I’m constantly moving around the warehouse. Whenever I can answer my phone, I can answer with my earbuds in so its a lot easier. I also like to listen to music to help me concentrate.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Take it one day at a time. I try not to stress on what happened yesterday, and instead focus on what happens today.
What do you like best about BDS?
The people. The staff that I’m constantly surrounded by from our drivers to our service technicians, our staff is the best. Our staff is the reason I’m at where I’m at today. There’s a lot of teachers and people I’ve learned from that have made me the best I can be. Pat on the back to the staff!
